Jump on top of the ledge above them and that will be your second plate. The tried plate is in the room to the south side of the second plate from where fallen come out.

The fourth plate is located on the tower just over the room where the first plate is found. You need to jump a bit high to light this plate. Then to the north of the plate where there is an open space and a room, you can spot the fifth plate, which is quite close to the second plate. The final plate is on top of the big disc-like structure which is on the left side of the room with the third plate.

Step 6: Slay “Volmar, The Tempted”

Keep going through the hallway till you arrive in a place with lots of thralls and the boss, whom you need to slay. The mechanism of this part is a little different but here is what you need to know about it.

Right after arriving in the room, an inactive buff will be provided to you which you can see on the left side of the screen. This buff is a form of dread that comes in four forms, which are

  • Thunderous
  • Fiery
  • Abyssal
  • Neutral

Here Thunderous means Arc, Firey means Solar, Abyssal means Void, and Neutral means Kinetic damage. The boss would be invulnerable and to start the damage phase, you need to grab a ball from the middle and dunk in one of the nodes in the room.

Guardians with Thunderous dread will go to the bottom-left node on the lower level, Fiery is the top-right corner node on the lower level, Abyssal is the top-left node on the upper level and Neutral is in the bottom-right node on the upper level.

All these nodes have their own symbol and you find and see them in the room before the boss room. Dunking the ball in the wrong node will cause provide you a penalty for five seconds, which will make your screen go a bit hazy. Doing it correctly will provide you with the vengeance buff for twenty seconds, which actually is the damage phase. But the damage can only be done with the element of the buff that you have on the left side of the screen. Rinse and repeat this until the boss is dead.

Step 7: Finality

Go back to Eris and she will provide you with the Destiny 2 Xenophage. Completion of the dungeon is not necessary.

So, this is how you can get the weapon. The first part of the quest is quite easy but for the Dungeon part of the quest, it is suggested that you have a fireteam ready as that part is a bit challenging.
