Season Of The Haunted introduced four menagerie weapons which are Austringer, Beloved, Drang (Baroque), and Calus Mini-Tool Destiny 2. Austringer and Beloved were quite sought after as both these weapons excelled in PvP and the Calus Mini-Tool however excels in PvE.
Calus Mini-Tool is a 900 RPM solar submachine gun that comes with the Archetype MIDA Synergy, which provides the weapon with superb handling and boots movement speed of the wielder. This weapon provides the wielder with extra speed when it is used with MIDA Multi-Tool. So, How do you get this weapon?
How To Get Calus Mini-Tool Destiny 2
There are two ways to get the weapon the first one is by opening the Opulent chests and the second one is by crafting the weapon.
Method 1: Opulent Chests
Opulent Chests can be found in the Royal Pool and Pleasure Gardens. There are opulent chests in various locations in each area. To open these chests you need Opulent Keys which can be obtained from the Tier III chest of the Nightmare containment activity in the Castellum. They can also be obtained by opening random chests in the Royal Pool or Pleasure Garden.
If you keep opening Opulent Chests then you will be able to get a solid roll of the weapon and be satisfied with it or you can follow the next method.
Method 2: Weapon Crafting
Crafting Calus Mini-Tool is quite easy, you need to get five deepsight resonant versions of the weapon. These can be obtained by focusing umbral engrams at the Crown Of Sorrows in the H.E.L.M. For that, you need to unlock the opulent weapons crafting upgrade at the Crown of Sorrows.
After having those, you can head to the relic on mars and craft the weapon. But most importantly you need to get at least one Calus Mini-Tool from the opulent chest before you are able to get the deepsight resonant versions from the Crown Of Sorrows.
The perks at the beginning won’t be that great but you can keep using it and craft one with enhanced perks.

Calus Mini-Tool Perk Combinations?
Since the weapon is craftable you can choose any of the perks that are available in its perk pool. But the combination of Enhanced Threat Detector and Enhanced Surrounded/Enhanced Incandescent would be a great combination for PvE.
However, for PvP, the combination of Enhanced Slideways/Enhanced Threat Detector and Enhanced Eye Of The Storm/Enhanced Tap The Trigger would be a great combination.
And that is how you can get Calus Mini-Tool. Craft this weapon as soon as possible and start using it.
