The weapon was a part of an exotic quest called In Rides A Pale Horse but this has been added to the Destiny Content vault during the Beyond Light expansion. But despite that, you can still obtain the weapon in exchange for a few resources, which are
- 200 Dusklight Shards
- 125,000 Glimmer
- 1 Exotic Cipher
- 1 Ascendant Shard
After acquiring all these you can go to the Monument Of Lost Lights in the tower and find your way to the Shadowkeep section and get the weapon.

The catalyst of the weapon can be obtained by completing playlist activities such as Strikes, Gambit, and Crucible. You need to grind quite a bit to get the catalyst of the weapon. After getting it you need to complete the catalyst and for that, you need to kill 400 enemies with it.

After the completion of the catalyst, it provides the weapon with another perk called And Its Name Was Death, which adds an additional round to the magazine of the weapon and also increases the reload speed of the weapon by 40.
