The Prospector catalyst can be obtained from doing nightfall strikes and after obtaining it you need to kill 500 enemies with it. And that’s all.

After the completion of the catalyst, it provides the weapon with a single benefit and that’s Deeper Pockets, which increase the ammo reserves of the weapon by three.
This weapon might not be viable in the meta right now but when Arc 3.0 rolls out, this would be quite helpful along with Anarchy.
